Support Us to Support our community
Waiuku Family Support Network has been part of the community for 35 years. Throughout this time and we have relied heavily on the support from our community of which we are incredibly grateful.
The support has been invaluable and we wish to thank Health through the Marae, contact our whanau, individuals, local businesses, partner organisations and the wider community for their ongoing generosity!
Local groups & Businesses include local church groups, Lions, Rotary, The Ukelele club, Lucilles, Barfoot & Thompson, WHAM, LK Cafe, the Opportunity Shops, The Quilters, those involved in the Artisans Alcove and more amazing people and organisations.
WFSN also has service agreements/contracts/grants with & from government, local bodies & philanthropic grants. These include the Local Area Board (Auckland City Council), The Franklin Partnership Grant, Lotteries, the Estate of Ernest Hyam Davis and the Ted and Mollie Carr Endowment Trust, and Food Security Network.
We have service agreements with the Ministry of Social Development, Oranga Tamariki, Housing & Urban Development, Ngā Whare Whakarururhau o Aotearoa National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges. In some cases, WINZ can also support with counselling fees.
To ensure our all services current & future are gratis (free), we are constantly exploring other funding opportunities so there is a balance of financial support from our community, philanthropic grants and governmental service agreement initiatives.
