Social Workers

 The Social Work team support individuals and whānau/families through challenging situations.

Professional social workers encourage you to improve and promote the well-being of whānau either as individuals, families and couples.  Their role is to assess people's needs and then walk alongside them to access support that meets those needs.

Our Social Workers can support you with a wide range of issues and /or let you know the resources that are available in the community.

Our Social workers provide support in all sorts of situations including where there is family & sexual harm, advocacy, support at whānau hui & or government agencies such as Oranga Tamariki, Kāinga Ora or WINZ.
